Welcome to this website, a work in progress.

I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and was interested in LEGOs, blocks, trains, and Star Wars. These things have influenced my building style with clay. Hopefully I'll be able to show you all the work I have done in clay over the past 20 years.

My ceramics mentor is Jake Jacobson whom is a professor at the University of Nebraska Kearney. I realize now that I construct my ceramic work in the same manner that Jake does and I am great full for his friendship..

My Masters in Fine Arts is from Kansas State University. I studied under Yoshiro Ikeda who strengthened my work ethic greatly. I also found sculpture professor Daniel Hunt to be inspiring particularly his fluid control of welded steel and unending humor.
